Installation Instructions for T-Grid Ceiling Mounted Diffusers

1. Using the CD2 Mounting "L" Bracket as a template, drill 1/8" pop-rivet holes in the front lip of the diffuser. Holes should be drilled from the gel-coat side and located so the face of the clip is flush with the "lip" of the difuser.

2. Install the CD2 Mounting "L" Bracket onto diffuser with white headed pop rivets. Insert pop-rivet from gel-coat side of the diffuser. Bracket to be mounted on the inside "lip" of the diffuser with the "L" end, with the oval hole extended beyond the diffuser's edge.

3. Locate and install T-Bar Scissor Clip CD1 onto ceiling grid.

4. Secure diffuser to Scissor Clip Stud with 1/4" Hex Nut. Level and adjust as necessary. Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Spray 409 or equivalent can be used, as necessary, without harming gel-coat surface.

CAUTION: Failure to provide temporary support while securing all 4 diffuser brackets to scissor-clip studs could result in diffuser damage.

T-Scissor Bar Hanger
1. Open fastener completely and place firmly against T-Bar.
2. Start the scissor action with your thumb and forefinger. Continue pressing with fingers until hinge is secured tightly on the T-Bar. For the occasional removal, insert small screwdriver at edge of T-Bar and spring open.
