| Acoustical Resources Sound
Absorber Panels are used in music rehearsal and performing arts facilities to control
excessive noise levels and reverberations. An interactive system, when combined with
Diffuser Panels and/or Auditorium Reflector Panels, can provide a sophisticated, yet
economical, acoustically balanced environment. Core:
Interactive System absorber panels are constructed of a composite core of
dimensionally stable, medium density (6-7 PCF) glass fiber laminated to a 1/8" thick,
(18-20 PCF) high density, smooth fiberglass face. A foil scrim back option is available on
all cores. Standard cores are: 3/4"+1/8", 1+1/8", 1 1/2"+1/8", 2+1/8" and 3+18" or 4+1/8".
Edges:
All edges are chemically hardened unless otherwise specified. Edge Profiles available
are: Square, Radius, Half Bevel, Bevel or Custom.
Corner Profiles available are: Square, Radius or Custom.
Sizes:
Standard and Most Economical panel sizes are 48" x 96", 48" x 120" or 48" x 144". Custom sizes are
readily manufactured. Industry standard tolerances are ±1/16" in width and length.
Mounting:
Adhesive, mechanical z-clip, impaling clip, hook & loop, or custom.
Finishes:
An extensive selection of unbacked woven and nonwoven fabrics and vinyls are available
from our standard line. Most manufacturer's fabrics and C.O.M.'s can be applied if
approved by Acoustical Resources prior to manufacturing. Finish is adhered to the core
face, edges and returned to the back of the panel. All corners are fully tailored.
Flammability:
All panel components have a Class "A" (0-25) Flame Spread rating per ASTM E-84. |
